Martano Urban Furniture

Urban renewal and the social vocation of open-air spaces.

In the landscape of modern urban regeneration, the enhancement of public space takes on a profound social, economic, and cultural significance that goes far beyond simple construction.

Sprech’s intervention in the town of Martano moves exactly in this direction, redesigning collective open-air areas to improve livability, inclusion, and environmental sustainability within the city context, while enriching an urban area already steeped in history.

The urban landmark, synergy with Agorà Design, and the "tailor-made" philosophy in public furniture.

Urban-scale interventions by Sprech are created to give life to distinctive and representative places dedicated to daily social interaction and conviviality. Developed also in conjunction with cultural and territorial promotion activities linked to Agorà Design, the urban furniture project for Martano demonstrates the company’s ability to design bespoke solutions capable of respecting urban planning constraints and reflecting the historical identity of the site while rediscovering new and flexible collective functionalities.

Cross vault covers and Pergolas

The project involved the redevelopment of several municipal areas for a total covered surface of 2,580 sqm. The main intervention concerned the market area with an impressive 2,240 sqm cross vault cover, flanked by a 290 sqm play area protected by an Airone Max Decagonale gazebo model dedicated to playgrounds. The layout is completed by the structural restyling of a 50 sqm bar kiosk and the installation of versatile shading pergolas from the Beach System line, flexible and functional furnishing elements serving the citizens.
